New large format offset press strengthens the Evolution series

In late 2020, Manroland Sheetfed introduced the ROLAND 900 Evolution, the newest member of its benchmark Evolution family, underlining its position as a global leader in the production of large format presses.

The ROLAND 900 Evolution delivers a variety of automation technology to give cost and energy savings for printers along with ever faster make-ready times. The ROLAND 900 Evolution bears all the hallmarks of innovation, productivity, and quality now synonymous with the Evolution name.

Among them are InLine ColorPilot 3.0, the fastest, most effective, and most accurate color measurement technology currently available, measuring densitometrical and colorimetric values in a single pass, and Autoprint, which offers uninterrupted productivity from pre-press to post-press at the touch of a button.

With three distinct inker running modes, the new Triple Flow inking technology solves special issues for large format print, and the AC Drive promises annual savings of up to 10,000 kWh, or 8 years over the press's lifetime.

The ROLAND 900 Evolution pushes the limits of what is possible in large format offset printing thanks to its array of complimentary, cutting-edge technology.

Additionally, Manroland unveiled two new 700 additions of the Manroland Evolution family. One is a high-speed model called the 700 Evolution Speed that is designed for longer running applications and has a 20,000 sph rating. The other is a simpler design for individuals who do not require the 700 Evolution Elite's level of technology. This is the 700 Evolution Lite, which is priced to appeal to customers looking for a new press and is configured as a standard machine with the quick make-ready benefits of a new machine but without some of the bells and whistles that can raise the price.
