The history of VEGA began 75 years ago in Cusano Milanino, when Mario Nava founded Officine Grafiche Mario Nava, which became Vega in the 1960s. It lasts up to the present day thanks to the focus and experience gained in the packaging sector, as a manufacturer of instrumental goods called folder-gluers, establishing Vega, now in Paderno Dugnano (MI), among the world’s leading companies.

“The machines we produce are used to fold and glue with high precision pre-printed, creased, and cut blanks made of folding carton and corrugated cardboard, transforming a simple sheet of cardboard into the desired packaging: this is how we build the casing of products used daily by everyone. There is almost no limit to the variety of box folding choices: our technical department is always careful to assess the technical feasibility of the desired process and we have a “Boxes Book” that illustrates all the box models that can already be produced by our folder-gluer machines.
The customers who use our products supply sectors ranging from the pharmaceutical to the food industry, including boxes for hi-tech products, automotive, and even the very popular e-commerce.
Practically a vast amount of boxes that come into our hands every day have passed through a folder-gluer. Vega’s constant focus is the implementation of its machines with the most innovative technologies, to make its products state-of-the-art both from a technical and safety point of view, thus making the production process and the operator’s work easier, faster, more precise, and safer. All Vega machines are in compliance with the dictates of Industry 4.0, today an essential requirement to make the exchange of information among machines, company, and operator more functional, simple, and immediate, but above all to be competitive in the market.
Another distinctive feature of VEGA is its recognition on the international scene: in fact, it has always been a constant presence at the most important international trade fairs in the sector, including the CCE in Munich.
