Introducing XiP Pro Industrial 3D Printer

  • XiP Pro enables onshoring and reshoring initiatives with additive manufacturing by providing the maximum daily throughput at the lowest operational costs for the production of industrial and medical device components.

  • Unlocks new production possibilities at exponentially faster speeds than competitors; one XiP Pro can produce the same output as four of the next fastest industrial 3D printers on the market.

  • Provides the highest build volume in its class, delivering unrivaled productivity and print success for industrial users looking to scale additive production.

  • Nexa3D's proprietary Lubricant Sublayer Photo-curing (LSPc) 3D printing method enables better accuracy, part precision, and superior surface quality.

  • Access to over 30 certified industrial resins on Nex3D's open material platform is included, with more industrial and dental materials qualified and added on monthly basis.

  • With the new NexaX OS - an intelligent, scalable platform for workflow automation, speed, efficiency, and productivity - a faster print prep engine and remote monitoring are included.

Nexa3D, the industry leader in ultrafast polymer 3D printing, announced today at Rapid + TCT 2023 the immediate availability of their XiP Pro ultrafast industrial 3D printer, which offers the greatest daily production throughput and lowest total cost of ownership in its class. The XiP Pro enables previously impossible production capabilities for industrial users, with print rates considerably quicker than existing SLA and DLP-based technologies, a more powerful print engine, and 19.5 - liter build capacity.

Nexa3D the industry leader in the ultrafast polymer 3D printing, announced today at Rapid + TCT 2023 the immediate availability of their XiP Pro Ultrafast industrial 3D printer, which offers the greatest daily production throughput and lowest total cost of ownership in its class. The XiP Pro enables previously impossible production capabilities for industrial users, with print rates considerably quicker than existing SLA and DLP-based technologies, a more powerful print engine, and a 19.5 liter build capacity.

Scaling production inexpensively has been a difficult for firms trying to use additive manufacturing to de-risk and streamline supply chains due to the inherent tradeoffs between print speed and production quality. When the capital intensity of creating an additive plant is combined with the ongoing operational expenditures, the return on investment becomes illusive. Fortunately, there is no need to compromise with XiP Pro.

"We packaged our most advanced technologies into the XiP Pro, and let me tell you, it exceeds all expectations for what's possible in terms of productivity and total cost of ownership," said Avi Reichental, Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Nexa3D. " XiP Pro represents a paradigm shift for industrial users seeeking to scale additive manufacturing." The printer's metal shell is small, but sturdy is built for a tough production floor setting and performance longevity.

"I am proud and humbled by my fellow Nexers and the innovation powerhouse we are building, which is anchored in over 180 patents, a comprehensive polymer product portfolio spanning a broad range of resin (LSPc) systems, and rapidly expanding powder bed fusion (QLS) solutions," Reichental stated.

Largest Build Volume in Its Class

A single XiP Pro produces the daily throughput of at least four competing resin based printers with a 19.5-liter build volume, allowing customers to radically shift the economics of 3D printing production while also decreasing capital investment in equipment. Users can optimise each design by stacking smaller parts on top of one another to take full advantage of XiP Pro's whole z-stage, thanks to its unique stacking feature.

Ultrafast Print Speed without Compromise

Tradeoffs have always been an important part of 3D printing; for example, quality concessions must be made for fast production. XiP Pro can print its whole build volume in under two hours, thanks to an industry-leading print speed of upto 24 vertical centimeters per hour. Its revolutionary LCD-based print technology employs a self lubricating membrane to reduce peel forces and enable ultra-fast print speeds. Its cutting edge LED light engine provides even higher resolution and surface finish on 3D printed objects.

Unrivaled Accuracy and Surface Quality

In addition to superior speed and throughput, the XiP Pro features a cutting-edge 7K resolution LCD screen with 46m pixel size, ensuring that every detail of a design is captured with unparalleled precision, resulting in stunning and accurate finished products. The superior sensor package , adaptive layer-by-layer printing technique, and closed-loop z-stage with auto-homing features of the XiP Pro provide increased printability and first-time build success rate.

Broad Material Range and Open Platform

The XiP Pro is an open platform printer that offers a wide selection of high performance materials, including strong and durable resins like xABS, xPP, and xCE, as well as elastomeric materials like xFLEX475 and xFLEX402, enabling virtually endless material options. It is the most versatile industrial 3D printer on the market, capable of prototyping in transparent or modeling resins as well as manufacturing end-use components and 3D printed molds in heat resistant resins such as xPEEK, xCERAMIC, and xMOLD.

"Nexa3D has done an excellent job of lowering the cost of 3D printing while increasing production capacity," remarked Glen Mason, Director, Advanced Manufacturing at Wilson Sporting Goods/DeMarini Sports, one of the early Nexa3D users. " Their printers are becoming larger, faster, and more affordable, which is a huge benefit to users." I'm very thrilled about the XiP Pro since it is the tool I need to move to a greater scale, providing us with a 10x throughput compared to where we are now. We can print larger pieces and stack smaller parts for maximum throughput with a larger build platform. It is positively advancing technology in every way, lowering cost per part while enhancing resolution, speed, and build capacity."

XiP Pro includes a new and improved NexaX OS, an intelligent, scalable platform for workflow automation, speed, efficiency, and productivity that includes a faster print prep engine and remote monitoring. The new NexaX OS suite speeds up and automates workflow, fleet management, and remote monitoring. It also enables for faster support structure development in a variety of forms, faster slicing, border compensation on base layers, and print file size reduction, all of which further optimise and speed print prep and build time.
