KOLBUS showed the latest technology for corrugated board processing The RD 115S demo with box productions takes place at the packaging manufacturer PackConcept in Lübbecke. Various jobs with cutting dies in alternation and the processing of different corrugated boards (BC flute 6.5 mm / B flute 2.8 mm / E flute 1.5 mm) will be shown.
AutoBox AB 310 + MultiNova MN 400 – live at KOLBUS Demo centre The type AB 310 processes single and double corrugated board, up to the heavy triple corrugated board, effortlessly into folding cartons and is equipped with an inline digital printing unit and integrated nozzle gluing for flap gluing. The MultiNova MN 400 multi-point gluer demo shows the gluing of die-cut boxes type FEFCO 0702 (previously produced with RD 115S).
Toolless technology for luxury packaging production - live with format changeover The BOX LINE Wrapper BLW 200 is a new development for the machine wrapping and laminating of cardboard blanks to produce luxury packaging. Model and format changes take place without time-consuming retooling of the laminating stations. During the open house demo, a three-part slip lid box is produced. Faster production for book covers and digital print processing DA 370 is the newly designed casemaker for quality bookbinding with centre strip roll up to 65 cycles/min. Faster production, better quality by axes with modern adjustment drives and ball screw spindles, integrated cloth corner-cutting. DA 370 DIGITAL is configurable for faster production, highest quality, and less makeready time. Up to 50 % more output is possible in digital mode for photo book cases and digital print finishing. NEW: Automatically adjustable cardboard cutting with four knives. Format cut for cases and centre-strip width and integrated cloth corner-cutting suited the case size.
