These new Mid-Range and entry level units bring all of the EFI new generation technology to a wider market with more affordable options. The leading print service providers in the world have been enjoying significantly lower per square meter costs and the best reliability in the market with the EFI r5+, r3+ and H3/5 but these high capacity machines were only affordable for companies with large print volumes. Now the same features like 130 to 150 sqm per liter of ink verses the 60 to 90 sqm per liter of ink the competitors achieve, the Firey rip software for superior colour control, faster ripping and print and rip at the same time and even printheads that can be changed in under an hour. Whilst not having the top print speeds of the top models which can reach 485 sqm/h these entry and mid level printers have top print speeds ranging from 235 to 285 sqm/h depending on the model which will be more than enough for Mid-range Print Service Providers.
