Dynagraph supplied the HP 570 print and cut solution to the new Ikea Store in Jebel Ali. Initially set up in the site office the printer is being used during the fit-out stage of the new store construction doing Decoration and Point of Sale. When the store opens it will move into the store offices where it will be used for quarterly range launches and ongoing point of sale printing.
The HP print and cut solution combines a HP latex printer with a separate plotter/vinyl cutter allowing them to print and cut stickers in all sizes and shapes. This solution from Hp has dominated print and cut sales over the last two years since its release because having a separate cutter allows for greater versatility but one of the main reasons it has proved so popular is the print and cut software that comes with the solution. This software enables operators to easily create stickers without having to use graphics programs like Illustrator and photoshop. No special graphics experience is required and operators can quickly learn to create fantastic stickers. Ikea also chose the HP solution because the HP latex range of printers are the easiest and most user friendly for operators and these printers will be operated by the in store staff.
