Esko and Scantrust have completed a software integration linking Esko’s Automation Engine and WebCenter packaging management platform with Scantrust software to streamline the addition of variable data to packaging artwork.
The integration enables automated creation and printing of unique serialized QR codes directly on product packaging using the Automation Engine Variable Data Printing module. This supports brand protection through unique product identifiers, supply chain traceability, consumer engagement via on-pack digital links, and compliance with GS1 Digital Link standards.
The solution connects packaging production workflows with digital data management and is designed to support both small production runs and large-scale industrial volumes. It also offers optional integration with the Amazon Transparency anti-counterfeiting system.
