A B Graphic International (ABG) has launched the ABG InkJet, a single-colour print bar module designed for integration with ABG finishing systems such as Digicon, Converter, SRI and the B5010 Booklet Machine, as well as compatible third-party equipment.
The module supports applications including variable data printing, barcodes, security features and pharmaceutical labelling. It offers resolutions of 360 or 720 DPI, tool-less installation, compatibility with multiple web widths and a wasteless setup process aimed at improving operational efficiency.
A notable feature of the system is its ability to print directly onto adhesive layers. When paired with ABG’s fleyeVision inspection system, the module provides high-resolution output and consistent print accuracy within a compact, integrated design.
The same inkjet technology is also used in the ABG Braille module, which applies high-build varnish to produce braille text and tactile markings on labels in line with industry standards. The system supports different varnish viscosities and allows quick changeovers without additional cleaning steps.
Both the ABG InkJet and ABG Braille modules are manufactured at ABG’s facility in Baesweiler, Germany, as part of the company’s expanding inkjet product range. Further developments in this series are planned for release in 2026.
