In 1898, the company MBS, manufacturer of machines and vehicles for the agricultural sector was formed under the name of Karl Ritscher in Hamburg. The company’s new factory in Sproetze/Buchholz was taken over by MAN Roland AG in 1944, when again in 1992 the production was taken over by the factory itself. In 2009, effective the 3rd of July the new company Schneider Senator SSB GmbH, with Mr. Burkhardt and Ekkehardt Busch as shareholders, known as Managing Directors of company Gerhard Busch GmbH, has taken over the production, sales, service and handling for the brand Schneider Senator and all related products, some of them below listed.


With over 50 years experience in the manufacturing of guillotine, the High-speed cutter Senator E-Line 78 & 92, guillotine for small cutting widths of 78 cm & 92 cm provide all the quality advantages Schneider Senator is renowned for, such as flawless precision and reliability.


The Senator S-Line H sets new standards for cutting machine performance with its direct hydraulic drive concept. Those are equipped with a knife pull-down-rod drawn from the bottom, which results in a consistent power during each and every high-speed cut making the overall knife cycle faster. The S-Line H are also more precise thanks to its patented precision linear guides for the knife guidance The infinitely variable frequency-controlled backgauge drive achieves an appreciably higher speed. While the ball race lead screw with precision linear guides operates in a virtually friction-free manner resulting in a lot less maintenance, but more efficiency.


For larger formats, the E-Line 185 & 260 offer power, precision and reliability, with high quality cutters for a guaranteed long and trouble-free run, even in non-stop production conditions. These guillotines can also be equipped with various peripheral equipment to automatic cutting lines for a problem-free sheet handling.
