Lamina System AB is an operating division of the Swegmark Group, Borås, Sweden. The Swegmark Group of companies employs more than 900 persons worldwide.
Lamina began manufacturing and marketing laminating equipment for the printing industry in the mid-1980’s. In 1990 Lamina introduced its first semi-automatic laminator. Though, originally designed for the graphic arts industry, the Lamina semi-automatic laminator was subsequently adapted to run corrugated sheets, a process that has proven to be very successful. Today, Lamina is a premier supplier of laminating equipment for the graphic arts, corrugated and folding carton industries.
The company currently manufactures and supplies laminating machines for sheet sizes 200 mm x 350 mm up to 1600 mm x 2000 mm. Details pursuant to gram weight, types of material, etc can be found in our promotional leaflet.
The machine´s versatility is due in part to its aluminium profile system, a construction method which does not require welding or painting and is, therefore, easily adapted to special requirements. The concept is modular thus resulting in flexibility
