Established under the name of IndustrieSerVis GmbH, the high-tech specialist in the use of light for industrial processes and products, changed its business name and incorporation in 2000 to Advanced Photonics Technologies AG (AdPhos AG). One year later the company acquired Eltosch GmbH.

For the print and paper applications, the nir®-Technology (NIR: Near Infra Red) enables the application of very high energy amounts on different substrates, minimizes the heating of paper and enables drying and curing at limited space.
Auxiliary drying is well-known for a long time for the drying of waterbased colors. Due to a focussed heating of inks and varnishes, the water resp. solvent is expelled. In many cases, however, these dryers are the performance-defining element in those machines: thick varnish layers cannot be dryed fast enough or water-based systems cannot replace solvent-based systems due for lack of dryer performance.
