Based in England, Mr. Graham Harris worked in the printing industry for over 20 years before founding in 1999 the company Tech-ni-Fold. Mr. Harris answered the problems of fibre cracking of many printers, pushed to outsource their products, by creating the world’s first and only rotary creasing solution. Since then Tech-ni-Fold’s product range expanded to cover other critical and specialized areas throughout the post press sector and are also heavily involved in machine concept and design.
The Tri-Creaser is a printing equipment device that totally eliminates fibre cracking on stock ranges 85-350 gsm, guaranteed. The fibres are stretched so that fibre cracking just isn't "allowed" to occur and, there is always constant pressure on the slitter shaft rollers to ensure straight creasing every time. The Tri-creaser was produced to fit on most of the folding machines for a quick in-house job. It is fast to set up and easy to use, without even the need of a training or demonstration. The Micro-Perf & Cut Multi-Tool brings together several applications in one single multi-functional device, saving the operator the time for the set up. The device is to be attached to your folding machine’s exit shafts and produces a perfect cylinder style micro-perforating and razor sharp guillotine quality slitting, double cutting and edge-trimming.
The Micro-Perf/Cut & Crease Combo produces Cylinder quality creasing and micro-perforating plus multiple razor sharp cutting applications, it eliminates your outsourcing of straight line creasing and micro-perforating altogether and reduces trimming output on your guillotine. It produces 2-up leaflet work with clean edge cutting that resembles the quality you would see come from a guillotine and the quality of each application are equal to or even better than what you were getting before from out-sourcing. Each application was designed to replace the need for print and print finishers to out-source their work for specialist creasing, micro-perforating and cutting.
